Those pictures are priceless! What an adorable little man. We're thrilled to hear that the surgery went as planned and that Austin is proving himself to be as strong as his parents. The whole family is in our prayers!!

Wow! Finally, we get a chance to take a look at the website...being the "country cousins" and almost the only people in the world who still have dial up, we have not been able to see Austin for awhile..(currently, we are in the "big city" trick-or-treating with the city cousins). We are so happy to hear the surgery went well. The pictures are awesome. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Oh my! That little Austin is one cute little boy. He is unmistakably your son. Same exact smile.

It's been so long since I've seen you, Barry, but that doesn't mean I don't think of you often-and with a smile. I had lunch with Steve the other day and he told me Austin's story. I am praying your precious little boy, and for you and Karla too.

Blessings,

Phil

In these newest pictures, Austin looks about five years old. He's so mature!!! No wonder he sails through these pesky surgeries with such flying colors! Thank you, Barry, for your witty way of keeping us updated. I loved your rendition of Karla's strategy...it sounds amazingly like mine in similar situations!

God's blessings on all of you as you slog through this time of waiting. May God give you His peace that passes all understanding as you keep your faces lifted to Him!

My love and prayers!

(If I knew how, I'd attach pictures of my seven precious grandchildren for you to show Austin when he gets home!)

Oh, what adorable pictures! I woke up this morning with you all on my mind, knowing that this was a big day. We are so thankful for answered prayer, and that all is well tonight. As I thought of the intricate work that the surgeon's hands were doing, I was so grateful that God gifts certain people to do such fine work!
