Austin was discharged from Childrens on November 4th, and has been all smiles since being released from the hospital. He made a pit stop at Nana and Papa’s house for the past couple of days due to Dad coming down with a nice case of the flu on the day Austin was supposed to come home. After scrubbing down the house, Austin will be on his way home later today!
Here are a few photos showing Austin’s progress over the past week.

We are so happy to hear you are feeling better Austin! Looking good!
Austin’s face looks pink and lips look red. is that from the glenn prosedure or the picture taker?
We Love you guys!!!
You are one awesome kid Austin!
Love and prayers,
Elaine, Yogi and Rob
Looking good Austin. Glad to hear you are feeling better.
Take care and I hope your parents get some sleep.
We will never forget to praise our Lord daily for this dear, precious “miracle baby”. How impressed we are with Austin’s commited parents, family, Doctors, surgical team, caregivers and faithful friends. Jesus has blessed him with the very best!
Wish everyone reading this blog could see Austin in person.
He touches all with his huge smile, flashing eyes and happy personality. We know he has been chosen for a special mission.
God Bless All of You Have been So Faithful to Our Grandson,
Julie/Nana and Ken/Papa
It just makes my heart happy to know Austin’s heart is on the mend. God surely is touching this little guy for great things (beginning with that GREAT smile!) I’m itching to get my hands on him and make my realistic ducky noise in his ear…surely it would crack him up (or startle him to tears!). God is great and greatly to be praised!
Barry and Karla, is Austin able to sleep through the night yet, or do you still feel like zombies with sand in your eyes?
My love and prayers,
Janyce ( :
Austin you are so handsome!! and such a brave boy. We are so happy everything is going well. We love to see your smiling, happy pictures!
We still can’t wait to meet you – hopefully soon!
Hugs & Kisses,
Rupp, Crystal, Connor and Keira
Austin, you look so happy! We are so glad you are home and doing so well. Love to all, Sandy and Pete
Nana and Austin were out strolling this afternoon and stopped in for a quick visit. Your delightful son has absolutely charmed the neighorhood- he smiled a BIG smile, flashed those bright eyes and talked and talked and talked… WOW does he have a story to tell!!!
I absolutely cannot believe that he is only 2 weeks post-op. Your tender loving care is so very evident in his speedy recovery.
What miracles the Lord has already worked in Austin’s life!!!
Austin, I didn’t know it was possible, but you’re looking cuter as time goes on! I’m so happy and thankful to see that you’re doing so well
Expect a phone call within the next day or so… my professors are loading on the homework/ tests/ readings/ papers in the two days left before Thanksgiving (as you will learn in time) so I’m trying to stay afloat, but tell your mamma I’ll be calling soon! I can’t wait to meet you!
Love,
Kayla
